Technical Lead

Agile Defense is looking for a Cloud based Technical Lead to join our growing team!


As a Tech Lead, you will Lead a cross-functional team of developers, QA engineers, and DevSecOps specialists. Mentor junior team members, providing technical oversight and guidance. Assist in the technical planning and requirements gathering.

The role operates in anAgile environment and requires an understanding of the full software lifecycle, including DevSecOps implementations, Software Development and System Integration.


Location: Remote


Responsibilities:

Daily Collaboration & Requirement Definition: Work closely with stakeholders, and domain experts (both technical and non-technical) on a daily basis to clarify requirements, refine backlog items, and ensure the team’s work aligns with project goals; leverage strong communication skills to bridge the gap between technical details and broader business or operational objectives.

· Prioritize backlog items, manage sprint planning, and guide the team in meeting milestones and deadlines.

· Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to ensure clarity of objectives, progress, and potential hurdles.

· Provide regular updates on project status, technical challenges, and resource needs.

- Investigate new technologies, frameworks, and processes to enhance system capabilities, performance, and reliability. 


Must Haves:

· A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in related field or equivalent work experience can be substituted instead of a degree.

· Must have a total 5 years of IT Experience

· Experience in Spring Boot

· Experience in Microservices and API

· Team Lead experience

- Experience with open-source environments, especially in cloud environments

- Ability to do troubleshooting.

- Good communications skills in both writing and verbal.
