Agility Robotics is a pioneer. Our robot, Digit, is the first to be sold into workplaces across the globe. Our team is differentiated by its expertise in imagining, engineering, and delivering robots with advanced mobility, dexterity, intelligence, and efficiency -- robots specifically designed to work alongside people, in spaces built for people. Every day, we break through engineering challenges and invent new solutions and capabilities that will one day make robots commonplace and approachable. This work is our passion and our responsibility: our mission is to make businesses more productive and people’s lives more fulfilling.
We are looking for interns to work on perception-based skills for humanoid robot manipulation. The goal is to train whole body manipulation skills for a general-purpose industrial humanoid robot. In this role, you will use tools like vision-language models and vision-language-action models, work with robot data, and train, fine tune, or deploy skills to a humanoid robot.
Important components of this role will be using simulation data from tools like NVIDIA omniverse, as well as real world data from multiple humanoid robots. Knowledge of both 3d neural networks (pointnet and similar) as well as modern transformer-based architectures (ViT, etc) is important.
