About the team
As a senior member of the Cloud Engineering team, you will be working in collaboration with colleagues in Lithuania and the UK on the strategic evolution of the infrastructure for a major organisation. Responsibilities within each team will vary, but here is an overview of some of the things you may doing:

  • Building a rapid deployment pipeline to roll out new infrastructure environments in minutes
  • Helping to remove legacy infrastructure and standardise on modern, managed infrastructure
  • Finding creative ways to remove awkward manual maintenance tasks
  • Ensuring automatic compliance with company security standards and maintaining the security of our network perimeter
  • Providing stable, secure, scalable core platform services like databases, Kafka, hardware security modules and container orchestration

Key qualifications:

  • Experience with GCP
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Terraform, Kubernetes, TypeScript, Node
  • A desire to build pipelines for everything
  • A can-do attitude with an ability to own problems and see things through
  • Experience with container orchestration tools
  • An appreciation of software engineering principles
  • Fluent English speaker with excellent spoken and written communication skills
