Applied AI Engineer

As an Applied AI Engineer at Atlas, your main responsibilities will include developing AI-powered tools that streamline concierge services, automate request processes, and enhance user experiences in dining, travel, and payments. Your work will focus on solving real-world problems by leveraging your programming expertise and understanding of cloud technologies to optimize our platforms, ensuring they are efficient and user-friendly.

To qualify for the Applied AI Engineer role at Atlas, candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in developing client/server software using various programming languages, and 3 years of experience in cloud-based software development on platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. A strong understanding of prompt engineering, data modeling in relational and vector databases, as well as optimization techniques is highly desirable.

Atlas encourages in-person collaboration to foster team dynamics and creativity. As an Applied AI Engineer, you’re expected to work at least three days a week in our San Francisco office, giving you the chance to collaborate closely with your team members while contributing to exciting projects.
