Atlas is the concierge and credit card that unlocks coveted access and enables seamless spending. Our cardmembers are discerning, busy individuals who rely on Atlas to deliver convenience across their lifestyle while ensuring their spending power is both reliable and effortless. In just 12 months, we’ve scaled to over $X00,000,000 in spending volume, growing double digits monthly—organically, with no paid marketing.
We are backed by world-class investors and have multiple years of runway. Our team brings experience from building and launching iconic products and companies like Apple, Robinhood, and DoorDash.
We’re a small team of around 35 people based between NYC and SF. We value in-person collaboration and expect you to join us in the office.
We’re looking for an applied AI engineer to help us build the future of Atlas. You’ll work on our next-gen AI-powered concierge, creating tools (i.e. recommendations, concierge request automation, etc) that make life easier for some of the most influential people in the world. This role is about solving real problems in dining, travel, and payments while improving outdated systems. It’s a chance to make a big impact on a small team shaping a product people genuinely love.
This role is based in our SF office (FiDi), with an expectation of at least three days per week in person.
We believe passionate and determined people can excel with any tech stack. In an ideal world, you check these boxes:
5+ years developing client/server software in dynamically typed languages (Node, Ruby, Python), statically typed languages (Java, C, C++), or other modern environments (Go, Rust, Elixir, etc.).
3+ years developing cloud-based software on AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.
Strong prompt engineering and chaining knowledge with LLM/AI API Integration experience.
Knowledge of data modeling in relational databases (SQL) and vector databases.
Understanding of optimization and performance profiling especially in data ingestion and responses.
Solid collaboration skills and the ability to work well with product, design, and other cross-functional teams.
It’s fun: Where else can you work on advanced tech solving problems in travel, dining, and payments?
It’s impactful: We’re the primary payment method for discerning and notable individuals.
It’s early: We’re well-funded, lean, and growing, with a small team of around 20 people.
The team: You’ll join a group of creative, accomplished, and ambitious people.
Compensation: Our lean structure allows us to offer competitive equity and cash compensation.
