Blackstone Multi-Asset Investing (BXMA) manages $84 billion across a diversified set of businesses. Job Description:
The successful candidate will work on a variety of legal matters relating to hedge fund, hybrid fund and fund of hedge fund investing and structuring. Primary job responsibilities will include:
Structuring, negotiation, and formation of BXMA’s commingled and customized funds and portfolio investments.
Negotiation and execution of certain direct and indirect investments within BXMA’s Absolute Return, Multi-Strategy and Total Portfolio investment strategies.
Substantial interaction with BXMA internal business groups (investment, accounting, operations, investor relations) and external clients.
Management of external counsel.
Negotiation and review of various legal documentation.
Ongoing review of industry and regulatory developments to assess any relevant information or risks to BXMA’s business.
Qualifications:
J.D. degree required.
Candidates should possess a minimum of six (6) full years of law firm and/or in-house private investment fund work experience.
The successful candidate should have strong drafting, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interpret legal and business terms.

Expected annual base salary range:
$150,000 - $250,000Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
