Responsibilities: 

·         Responsible for day-to-day planning and execution of multiple client engagements throughout the year.

·         Supervise associate level professionals and delegate engagement responsibilities.

·         Responsible for communicating and resolving all issues that arise during the audit engagement with the support of the engagement manager.

·         Develop and execute audit strategy from planning to reporting.

·         Develop and maintain client relationships, thus driving client satisfaction.

·         Research, understand and apply complex accounting concepts and auditing procedures.

·         Draft financials and report audit findings (both verbal and written).

·         Develop, motivate, and mentor associates by providing training, regular feedback and career guidance while fostering a team environment.

 

Requirements: 

·         Licensed CPA, or in the process of obtaining the CPA.

·         BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

·         3+ years’ experience in public accounting in a variety of industries including Technology, Life Sciences, Consumer Products, Financial services, or Non-Profits;

·         Experience auditing complex accounts like inventory, revenue, equity / stock options, etc.

·         Demonstrated leadership/supervisor experience.

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills.

·         Strong desire to continuously learn.

·         Competently analyzes and prioritizes information to make appropriate recommendations.

·         Ability to synthesize all forms of research into clear, thoughtful, actionable deliverables.

·         Understands client needs, identifies root causes of problems, and implements pragmatic solutions.

Responsabilités :

·           Responsable de la planification et de l’exécution quotidiennes de multiples mandats clients tout au longde l’année.


·           Superviser les professionnels moins expérimentés et déléguer les responsabilités liées aux mandats.

·           Responsable de la communication et de la résolution de tous les problèmes qui surviennent au cours de la missiond’audit avec le soutien du directeur.

·           Élaborer et exécuter la stratégie d’audit, de la planification à la production de rapports.

·           Développer et entretenir les relations avec les clients, favorisant ainsi leur satisfaction.

·           Rechercher, comprendre et appliquer des concepts comptables et des procédures d’audit complexes.

·           Rédiger des rapports financiers et rendre compte des résultats de l’audit (à l’oral et à l’écrit).

·           Développer, motiver et encadrer les professionnels moins expérimentés en offrant de la formation, des rétroactions régulières et des conseilsde carrière tout en favorisant un environnement d’équipe.


Exigences :

·           Comptable professionnel agréé (CPA) accrédité, ou en voie d’obtention du titre de CPA (Américain ou Canadien).

·           Baccalauréat en comptabilité, en finance ou dans un domaine connexe.

·           3+ années d’expérience en comptabilité publique dans divers secteurs, incluant les technologies, les sciencesde la vie, les produits de consommation, les services financiers ou les organismes à but non lucratif.


·           Expérience de l’audit de comptes complexes tels que l’inventaire, les recettes, les actions / options d’achat d’actions, etc.

·           Expérience en matière de direction/supervision.

·           Excellentes aptitudes à la communication orale et écrite.

·           Forte volonté d’apprendre continuellement.

·           Analyse et habileté à prioriser les informations/données de manière compétente afin de formuler des recommandations appropriées.

·           Capacité à synthétiser les résultats de recherche dans des documents clairs, réfléchis et exploitables.

·           Comprend les besoins des clients, identifie les causes profondes des problèmes et met en œuvre des solutionspragmatiques.
