About the Finance & Workforce department: ?Our department manages financial planning, budgeting, and reporting to ensure fiscal health and compliance. We oversee cash flow, investments, and financial risk management to support strategic growth. In terms of Workforce, we focus on recruiting new colleagues, as well as training and developing our current team. We are charged with ensuring adherence to labor laws while promoting a safe, inclusive culture. Overall, our department is here to align financial strategies with workforce planning, driving sustainable success.


The Job: As Finance & Workforce Assistant, you will play a crucial role on the team. The core functions for the position are:

  • Invoicing Execution: Generate and manage timely, accurate customer invoices to ensure smooth revenue flow and a best-in-class billing experience.
  • Cash Receipt Processing: Accurately record and reconcile customer payments to keep books tight and cash flow on point.
  • Drive Seamless Onboarding: Coordinate all administrative aspects of onboarding new team members, making their first days smooth, compliant, and memorable.
  • Manage Benefits Programs: Administer employee benefits with precision and care, ensuring enrollment accuracy and an excellent team experience.
  • Track Human Safety Metrics: Maintain real-time visibility into workforce safety data to support a culture of accountability and risk reduction.
  • Administer Business Scorecards: Own the input, maintenance, and integrity of company-wide performance metrics to help your colleagues make fast, data-driven decisions.

Controller


Schedule: 

Weekdays, 8:30am - 5:00pm. 


Compensation & Benefits:

· Compensation: $27.50 - $32.50 per hour, depending on experience

· Option to participate in company-subsidized health insurance.

· Retirement program (401k, company provides a match of up to 5% of your compensation)

· Paid time off (two weeks) & holidays (six per year; seven on Presidential election years)


Environment: 

Open concept office sitting with colleagues from Customer Success, Business Development, and the Supply Chain departments. You will have your own dedicated desk and free on-site parking. 


Fair Labor Standards Act Evaluation:

After careful evaluation it is determined that this job does not fall under the overtime exemptions outlined in the Fair Labor Standards Act. This is an hourly position that is not exempt from overtime requirements.
