At CESO, a Survey Crew Chief works independently or with a survey technician to complete preliminary services in land survey and construction staking. You will have primary responsibilities that will include:


Primary Responsibilities
  • Operate miscellaneous survey equipment needed for completion of survey tasks
  • Perform survey calculations
  • Conducts daily maintenance and up-keep of instruments
  • Work well within a team environment as well as the ability to work independently as needed
  • Local and regional travel as needed
  • Assist in other survey duties as necessary


Position Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 5 - 7 years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred but not required
  • Valid driver’s License
