Position DescriptionCGI is seeking a Business Solutions Analyst with 2-8 years of relevant experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent oral and written communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail. Experience in financial/accounting and the SDLC process is preferred. This role involves working closely with other business consulting team members and project managers with a focus on IT modernization.This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office with work performed at the client site in Arlington, VA or Washington, DC; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable at the client’s discretion.This position is located in Arlington, VA.Your future duties and responsibilities• Engage government clients to identify current challenges and pain points, understand desired end goals, and provide actionable solutions.• Translate business requirements into detailed system documentation and user stories.• Document processes, requirements, user stories, and other documentation that allows the team to create the best possible solution for our client.• Conduct thorough testing of proposed solution in alignment with requirements, user stories and future process wishes.• Identify and communicate areas of improvement (ex. automation) and collaborate with senior team members to formulate plans and find solutions.• Capture lessons learned and support the team in identifying best practices for future initiatives.• Ensure that all project outputs, including reports, presentations, and analyses, are of the highest quality.• Collaborate with change management team to ensure effective process changes are made and documented.Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role• Our federal stakeholder requires that all applicants possess US citizenship and be eligible for a Secret-level clearance.• ł-8 years of experience as a business analyst in a client facing role, preferably related to federal finance.• Experience with using agile methodologies to deliver large-scale modernized IT solutions.• Experience with enterprise application solutions (ex. Salesforce).• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.• Microsoft Office proficiency (MS Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint is a must).• Strong personal organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.• Highly skilled in problem solving with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.• Detail oriented, emphasizing accuracy and reasonableness of data.• Ability to effectively partner cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.• Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to be professional and attentive to client needs.• Willing to operate in a hybrid work environment (some telework, some on-site work).Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:• Understanding of federal back-office functions, organizations, and motivations.• Understands the Microsoft PowerApps and PowerBI platforms, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) (ex. UIPath) and other emerging technologies.• Lean Six Sigma, PMP, Agile, Prosci or other relevant certifications.• Demonstrated success engaging with customers and demonstrating knowledge and expertise.CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
