Under the supervision of the Borough Office Manager, candidate will assist the Borough and the Skilled Trades Administrators who will oversee the movement of inventory, supply and material distribution allocated for all areas for the Borough Office to ensure special assignments, emergencies, and ad-hoc resident requests are addressed accordingly to maximize safety and service to NYCHA residents.
Under general supervision, City Laborer workers at Bronx Property Management will perform common laboring work assisting in routine maintenance and repair work, performing related work.
Duties shall include, but not be limited to the following:
1. Perform labor requiring physical strength in the support of maintenance functions on NYCHA properties.
2. Move, lift, and carry items of various weight and sizes.
3. May utilize hand or power-driven equipment in the performance of duties.
4. May be required to operate motor vehicles in connection with the performance of duties.
5. May oversee the daily activity of other laborers in the performance of their duties.
