ADAS System Engineering Expert - job 1 of 2

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for an ADAS System Engineering Expert for one of our partners, a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services.

This position requires flexibility to work on US times and flexibility to travel abroad when needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the series support and further development of ADAS sensors
  • Main point of contact for system suppliers and interface partners
  • Check, evaluate and approve the HW/SW system architecture of sensors
  • Define requirements for component properties and system architecture
  • Responsible for system functions, diagnostics, software logistics and process documentation including troubleshooting and support of the solution process
  • Support component validation and, above all, carry out detailed analyses at basic function and system function level on both SW and HW side and can find, evaluate and correct complex error causes.
  • Completed technical studies in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, information technology, or a comparable qualification
  • At least three years of professional experience in relevant fields of work
  • Experience in the automotive sector
  • Deep understanding and experience in the following areas: vehicle sensors (e.g. camera, radar, lidar, etc.)
  • Bus communication, system functions and system architecture, complex error analyses (SW/HW), Problem management Experience (Octane)
  • Solid background in project management and willingness to travel
  • Communicative and confident appearance
  • Ideally tool and method knowledge in the following areas: SWIP (Software Implementation Plan) Vector Tools (CANoe, CANape, CANalyzer), (Tool32), INPA, CAPL, Matlab/Simulink, CARMEN, Wireshark, programming skills
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
