    Job Description

    The IT Change and Release Management Analyst will be responsible for coordinating, managing, and overseeing all aspects of the change and release management process. This role ensures that changes are smoothly and successfully implemented to achieve lasting benefits, while minimizing risk to the IT infrastructure and services.

    Change Management

    • Evaluate and coordinate changes across IT systems to ensure minimal disruption.
    • Review and assess change requests for impact, feasibility, and resource requirements.
    • Schedule and conduct Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to review proposed changes
    • Manages additions and deletions from the list of Standard Changes. 

    Release Management

    • Develop and manage release schedules and plans, ensuring alignment with business needs.
    • With Application Development, coordinate release deployments, including pre- and post-release activities.
    • Ensure proper documentation and communication of release activities.
    • Monitor the implementation of changes to ensure compliance with release policies and procedures.

    Continuous Improvement

    • Develop and implement strategies to improve IT service delivery and support.
    • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of Change and Release processes.
    • Continuously assess and enhance ITSM processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
    • Analyse historical changes and make improvement recommendations .
    • Capture and provide metrics on the change outcomes.

    Risk and Compliance

    • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with changes and releases.
    • Ensure changes are compliant with regulatory standards and internal policies.
    • Perform post-implementation reviews to assess the success and impact of changes.

    Collaboration and Communication

    • Work closely with IT teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth change and release processes.
    • Communicate change and release plans effectively to all relevant parties.
    • Provide training and support to teams on change and release management best practices.

    Qualifications

    Required Experience and Competencies

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in IT Change and Release Management or a similar role.
    • Strong understanding of ITIL principles and best practices.
    • Experience with IT Service Management strategies and frameworks.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • ITIL certification is highly desirable.
    • Experience with Change Management and ITSM software tools.
    • Experience in a large-scale, complex IT environment.

    Additional Information

    Travel Requirements

    • Ability to accommodate multiple time zones, occasional travel required for meetings and conferences and may need to work outside of regular business hours to address urgent issues or during critical project phases.

    Compensation

    • $70,000 to $80,000/annually
