Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for production and analysis of RNA constructs and carrying out general bench work activities for the upstream and downstream process development group

Employees will be responsible for:

  • Production and analysis of RNA constructs
  • Carrying out general bench work activities for the upstream and downstream process development group
  • Conducting small scale IVT and purification experiments
  • Receiving and managing samples
  • Performing required analytical tests
  • Processing the data and providing data summaries back to the responsible scientists.
  • Authoring development reports to enable regulatory submissions
  • Providing support as part of an mRNA therapeutic process development team.

The candidate should have expertise/experience in :

  • molecular biology/biochemistry with an emphasis on RNA/DNA biology/biochemistry concentration
  • filtration techniques including tangential flow filtration and direct filtration
  • chromatography techniques (analytical and/or process)
  • qPCR
  • ELISA
  • Capillary electrophoresis

This role as a contract duration of 18 months.

  • Contract can be extended upon performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering, or other related fields
  • 2-4 years of relevant industrial experience
  • Eligible to work in the United States indefinitely without the need for sponsorship.
