Be part of our talented and growing team! We are currently looking for a Senior Analyst, Compensation & Benefits, to join our team report to the Senior Manager, Total Rewards.

As a Senior Analyst, Compensation & Benefits, you will support the analysis, implementation, communication and administration of competitive Total Rewards programs that align with the business strategy, goals and objectives. This role will provide support and subject matter expertise on employee compensation and benefits programs, processes, policies and other related initiatives that enhance the organization’s ability to attract, retain and engage qualified talent.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

  • Assist and collaborate in the planning, coordination, facilitation, administration, and reporting of the annual salary review and short-term incentive program
  • Supports development and execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Research and analyze competitive compensation practices in the job market
  • Analyze positions to ascertain the scope of employee responsibilities and qualifications
  • Analyze and interpret the company's remuneration programs
  • Review a wide range of relevant compensation data to ensure the company's remuneration policies are competitive
  • Complete compensation surveys and analyze results
  • Assist with benchmarking and trend analysis
  • Assist with creating and updating current job descriptions
  • Collaborate with the Recruiting Department to provide guidance on positions grades
  • Support the day-to-day administration of the employee benefit programs
  • Participate in the preparation and rollout of group benefits open enrollment campaign
  • Prepare and present reports
  • Identify and recommend process improvements using best-in-class approach to mitigate errors and increase efficiencies
  • Recommend new processes to ensure they are cost-effective and consistent with market trends and corporate objectives
  • Maintain up-to-date policies and procedures for employee group benefits, compensation and recognition programs
  • Assist with the analysis and development of new and existing benefits and total rewards initiatives, policies and procedures
  • Administer HR Recognition programs
  • Assist in preparing and delivering program communications and training for HR Partners and business clients as applicable

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business administration, or related field
  • 2+ years of work experience in a Compensation & Benefits Analyst position
  • Knowledge of compensation salary planning incentive programs, equity plans and market pricing is essential
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and Power Point and HRIS systems
  • Experience with Workday, preferred
  • Proficient with compensation research and data analysis
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task and deal with projects within tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail, follow-up and problem resolution
  • Demonstrating the ability to maintain confidential information is essential for this role
  • Outstanding people skills
  • Bilingual required to communicate with our clients across Canada
