The HR Shared Service Specialist works under general direction and acts as a trusted People First (Ford’s HR support team) representative to local colleagues and employees in California. Through the cultivation of deep relationships, contextual knowledge within their assigned team, and the application of process/policy expertise (particularly relevant California state laws / regulations), this role will support the resolution of complex, detailed, and highly visible HR-related inquiries, transactions, escalations, and projects. Essential responsibilities include modeling customer service excellence and proactively developing solutions that enhance employee experiences and systemically solve process challenges. Preference will be given to candidates local to (or willing to relocate to) Long Beach or Palo Alto.
