The opportunity

As the Technical Product Manager, you will be the bridge between the technical and business teams, driving the product vision and strategy. You will be responsible for translating customer needs into product requirements, managing the product lifecycle, and ensuring successful product delivery and adoption.

Inception is the UAE’s national-scale enabler in AI Research and Development. Partnering with Microsoft's AI SaaS, we offer domain-specific Agentic AI Orchestrator platforms utilizing reasoning agents for precise and cost-effective services. Our focus includes AI incubation, IP creation, applied AI R&D, and AI investment products. By creating models tailored to specific domains and languages, we ensure superior accuracy and efficiency. Collaborating with top universities and industry giants to drive significant advancements in AI technology within the region.

Responsibilities

The Technical Product Manager at Inception will oversee the development, launch, and ongoing success of our AI and data products. This role requires a blend of strong technical skills, strategic thinking, and excellent project management abilities. The Technical Product Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet market needs and align with the company’s strategic objectives.

· Product Strategy and Vision:

o Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and market opportunities.

o Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy.

· Product Development:

o Define product requirements and specifications, ensuring they are well-documented and aligned with customer needs.

o Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to develop and deliver high-quality AI and data products on time and within budget.

· Product Roadmap and Prioritization:

o Create and manage a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value and customer feedback.

o Balance short-term improvements with long-term strategic goals.

· Market and Customer Research:

Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to continuously improve the product and identify new opportunities.

o Use data-driven insights to make informed product decisions.

· Cross-Functional Collaboration:

o Work closely with engineering, data science, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and successful product delivery.

o Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments.

· Product Lifecycle Management:

o Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond, ensuring successful adoption and ongoing optimization.

o Monitor product performance and user engagement, making data-driven adjustments as needed.

· Technical Expertise:

o Strong knowledge of system design principles and all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

o Leverage your technical background to understand complex AI and data technologies and guide product development.

o Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to inform product innovation.

· Stakeholder Management:

o Engage with customers, partners, and stakeholders to gather insights and build strong relationships.

o Represent the product and the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings

Qualifications

Skills and attributes for success

o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.

o Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on AI and data products.

o Proven track record of successfully launching and managing technical products.
