Founding Account Executive

👋 Welcome to Glide!

At Glide we’re reimagining the banking experience for the modern world. Our embedded fintech platform empowers legacy financial institutions, like community banks and credit unions, to pioneer novel digital experiences for their customers.

You’ll be joining an all-star team with engineering, product, and growth experience from Stripe, Google, and Amazon. We’re looking for a talented Founding AE to help us grow our product to hundreds of banks. We’re bringing a new perspective to the decades-old financial world, and we’re hoping you can help us do that!

As a Founding Account Executive, you will work directly with our CEO to build Glide’s go-to-market function from the ground up.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with banking executives across country, while building awareness of Glide’s brand.

  • Source new opportunities through a combination in-person and virtual strategies, being the first point of contact for all new leads

  • Drive the sales process through lead identification, outreach, qualification, and nurturing

  • Help Glide become an established brand by attending conferences, hosting events, visiting prospects, and pitching at competitions

  • Build and refine the sales processes from the ground up, including vetting and implementing sales tools

  • Negotiate and close large, strategic accounts alongside the founders

Need-to-Haves:

  • 2+ years of quota-driven sales experience selling to enterprises

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with modern sourcing, prospecting, and outreach tools

  • Strong product intuition and proven track record of understanding complex, technical products

  • Strong understanding of Enterprise SaaS business models

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Previous experience selling an fintech or financial services product

  • Previously built sales processes from the ground up at an early-stage startup

  • An entrepreneurial, self-starter spirit
