Application Developer

Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled App Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Java (Spring Boot), Frontend Development (Angular), Microservices, Cloud Technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure), and DevOps Practices. You will be responsible for developing both backend and frontend components, ensuring high performance, security, and seamless user experience.

Essential Functions:

• Develop RESTful APIs and Microservices using Java, Spring Boot.

• Implement database interactions using Hibernate/JPA with Oracle, MySQL, Firebase.

• Work with asynchronous messaging for event-driven architecture.

• Implement caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached) for optimized performance.

• Develop responsive and interactive UIs using Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

• Integrate frontend with backend APIs, ensuring smooth data flow.

• Optimize application performance and implement best UI/UX practices.

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design using Bootstrap, or CSS.

• Deploy applications on AWS/GCP/Azure with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.

• Write and maintain unit tests (JUnit, Mockito), integration tests, and UI tests (Cypress, Selenium).

• Conduct code reviews to maintain quality and best practices.

• Optimize application performance through profiling and load testing.

• Work closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, DevOps, and QA Teams.

• Follow Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.

• Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field.

• 3+ years of development experience including backend and frontend.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Ability to work in Agile environments and adapt to fast-changing requirements.

• Well organized, detail oriented and a team player capable of working in a deadline dictated environment.
