Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated mechanical or biomedical engineering student to join our rapidly growing Digital Health team as a Project Engineer Intern for the Summer 2025 term. As an intern, you will be responsible for developing prototypes, executing tests, and writing technical documentation. Although you will drive the execution of your project(s), a team of electrical, mechanical, biomedical, and software engineering experts will be available to mentor and support you along the way.
Essential Functions:
Design, build, and test prototypes of electromechanical systems
Support the creation of product requirements, specifications, and test documents
Perform design verification and validation activities to ensure designs meet specifications
Work independently as well as on small teams using agile methodologies
Contribute to the growth of Globus Medical’s dominant intellectual property portfolio

Qualifications:
Pursuing a BS or MS in mechanical or biomedical engineering
Proficiency in CAD software (CREO Parametric preferred, Pro/E, Solidworks, etc.)
Hands-on experience with prototyping mechanical or electromechanical systems (e.g. assembly, tolerancing, breadboarding, soldering, etc.)
Excellent interpersonal and technical writing skills
Motivated self-starter with good time management and organizational skills
Ability to work for the duration of the internship at our Audubon, PA location
