H&H is excited to invite a talented Mid-Level Structural Engineer to join our vibrant Boston, MA office! Our engineering firm has a proud history of over 138 years, specializing in providing innovative infrastructure solutions for clients ranging from infrastructure owners to contractors. As a Mid-Level Structural Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to prepare structural and bridge construction plans under the guidance of a lead engineer, and your daily tasks will involve completing essential engineering computations that support detailed plans and construction documents. You’ll also ensure quality control and quality assurance procedures are followed, collaborate effectively with design team members, and mentor junior team members as they develop essential design skills. The role requires site visits to collect crucial data for your design tasks, so you're sure to get out and about! To excel in this role, you’ll need a Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering, along with a minimum of eight years of experience in the field (11 years preferred). Additionally, you should hold a Massachusetts PE license and have familiarity with tools like MicroStation or AutoCAD, as well as relevant structural engineering software. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, helping you work efficiently both independently and within a team environment.
