Part Time Veterinarian - Raleigh, NC (APR)

As a Part Time Veterinarian at Heartstrings Pet Hospice, your primary responsibilities include providing in-home euthanasia and hospice care for geriatric and terminally ill pets. You will guide families through the difficult process of making end-of-life decisions for their beloved companions and build relationships with local veterinary clinics as an essential extension of their care. You'll be appreciated for the time you take with each appointment, typically averaging 3-4 per day.

To qualify for the Part Time Veterinarian role at Heartstrings Pet Hospice, you must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) and have a minimum of one year of experience as a practicing veterinarian. Additionally, a valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, along with other physical requirements, are essential to perform the duties effectively.
