HelioCampus is seeking a Director of Data Analysis to lead a team in providing data-driven insights and strategies for higher education institutions, contributing to sustainability and success within the EdTech sector.
Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, ensure timely delivery of client requests, develop dashboards and reports, and conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends and support decision-making.
Skills: Proven experience in higher education analytics, team leadership, strong presentation skills, proficiency in SQL and Tableau, and expertise in data warehousing and relational databases.
Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in higher education analytics or consulting, leadership skills, and understanding of student financials, admissions, or enrollment management.
Location: Primarily remote with occasional travel to the Bethesda, MD or Chapel Hill, NC office, or client sites.
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $115,000 - $165,000.

How You'll Help:
We are seeking a Director to oversee and direct data analysis efforts for our clients. This role is vital to driving data-driven decision-making, providing actionable insights, and contributing to the overall success and growth of HelioCampus. The Director of Data Analysis will lead a team of data analysts, data scientists, and other related professionals, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven strategies are implemented effectively. We are seeking a Director who is also a player-coach and will work alongside the analyst team with multiple client partners to understand their analytical needs, evaluate key performance metrics, and analyze trends. The ideal candidate has experience in enrollment management, student success, and/or financial aid analysis within Higher Education and possesses superior technical ability as well as effective communication, relationship management, and supervisory skills.
