We are seeking an experienced Privacy Platform Manager to oversee the management, optimization, and strategic development of OneTrust, HP’s enterprise privacy platform. This role requires a strong technical background, hands-on experience in platform administration, and the ability to cross-collaborate across IT, business, and product teams to ensure seamless platform performance. It forms part of a diverse team reporting to HP’s Privacy Operations Senior Manager within the Trust and Privacy Organization under the Legal global function. The Trust and Privacy Organization’s mission includes leading strategies, policies, compliance, and assurance for secure, compliant digital experiences and the responsible use of personal data. Responsibilities:

Platform Management and Optimization

  • Oversee the end-to-end management of OneTrust, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Lead platform configuration, maintenance, and upgrades to support business needs and evolving technologies.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes.
  • Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of platform related incidents.
  • Deliver transparency of system's overall health through a dashboard using well-defined KPIs.
  • Proactively monitor operations and act on opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions.
  • Manage escalations with due care and elevate when appropriate.

Strategy and Governance

  • Maintain healthy relationships with key stakeholders across departments (e.g., Legal, Data Governance, IT, HR, Marketing) to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Develop and execute platform strategy, ensuring alignment with compliance and operational excellence goals.
  • Establish security protocols and compliance measures for platform usage.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize platform enhancements and integrations.
  • Maintain an active relationship with the vendor to provide ongoing feedback about challenges and concerns as well as learn about new features and capabilities to be able to determine how to adopt those within HP.

Integration and Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Ability to effectively communicate platform roadmap, architecture, plans, proposals, results, and negotiate options with key stakeholders.
  • Work with IT, product, and business teams to integrate platforms with other enterprise systems.
  • Coordinate with vendor to manage platform relationships and SLAs.
  • Ensure seamless data flow, system interoperability, and API integrations between platforms.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on platform usage and best practices.

Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in platform management, system administration, or related role.
  • Strong expertise in managing enterprise platforms such as cloud based SAAS solutions or data platforms.
  • Experience with platform automation, configuration, and performance optimization.
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge in integration across enterprise platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex platform issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working cross functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Capable of presenting complex information in clear and understandable terms, tailored to the audience.
  • Experience with Privacy Management Platforms, such as OneTrust with expertise in configuring Consent Management and Privacy Operations products.

Optional, but preferred:

  • Six Sigma or other Quality certification
  • Experience with Enterprise Management ticketing solutions, such as ONIT, JIRA, Service Now
  • Experience with other privacy management platforms

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in CSS, HTML, and JavaScript for customizing platform components
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations
  • Working across geographies to achieve desired results
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • Motivation to contribute and grow
  • Skilled negotiator and influencer
  • Track record of building relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

The base pay range for this role is $115,850 to $178,400 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).  Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
