Minimum Qualifications

  • Radiology Tech License from the State of Utah
  • Certification in Radiation Therapy from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.

  • Visual and Cognitive Abilities: Read and interpret information, labels, and patient needs; operate monitors; and accurately identify equipment and supplies.
  • Fine Motor Skills: Exhibit manual dexterity to handle complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy.
  • Communication Skills: Effectively communicate verbally and quickly process and respond to spoken information, alarms, and patient needs.
  • Physical Strength and Mobility: Lift, bend, retrieve, and carry equipment and supplies of varying weights, including heavy items, while assisting with patient transfers.
  • Movement and Coordination: Walk, transport, and ambulate patients; push and pull gurneys and equipment; and navigate crowded and busy environments efficiently. Extended Stationary Periods: Remain standing in a stationary position for prolonged periods when required.
