Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) I/II/III – Neurology

Responsibilities


The vocational nurse provides nursing care to patients in an assigned clinical area, under the supervision of a Nurse Supervisor, or Nurse Coordinator.  The LVN applies clinical nursing knowledge and utilizes demonstrated skills to ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational, and professional standards.  The LVN identifies priorities and makes judgments concerning basic needs of multiple patients in order to organize care.

 

Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) I/II/III – Neurology - Sign On Bonus $5,000

Location: West Woodlands


Department: Neurology

Job Type: Full Time 

Salary Range: $48,143 - $70,652 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

Required: LVN I/II/III - Graduate from an approved vocational nursing program.


Preferred: N/A


Experience


Required: 

LVN I – 6 months in a clinical area or successful completion of a KSC LVN Residency program.

 

LVN II – 4-8 years in a clinical area

 

LVN III  9+ years in a clinical area

Required: LVN I/II/III- Current and valid Texas LVN license

Special Skills


Required: LVN I/II/III- Able to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population for the assigned clinical 

 

area. 

 

Computer experience.

 

Preferred: LVN I/II/III- Windows bases computer skills. EPIC experience.
