Group/Division

With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. First to deliver the best imaging and classification data for every defect or point on any layer at any time. EBeam’s mission encapsulates its role as the “eyes” of KLA’s product line, providing timely information on defects and critical locations on the wafer at the highest spatial resolution possible. Customers use EBeam products alongside KLA patterned and bare wafer inspectors to quickly understand the nature of defects and other imperfections on product wafers and take action to correct the manufacturing process.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

KLA is seeking a highly driven Product Marketing Manager who will be responsible for EBeam account/customer management strategies which includes working with sales teams to define penetration strategies, formulate competitive responses and manage tool evaluations and competitive run-offs resulting in product penetration, adoption and growth in customer fabs.

The position will encompass analyzing customer requirements, understanding customer alternatives to meeting their requirements and competition analysis. She/he will develop the market forecast, identify growth opportunities, and develop collateral, and provide sales support.

The selected Product Marketing Manager will;

  • Direct the development of company market requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s), including product strategy definition, requirements analysis, and pricing.
  • Monitor the development of business plans, and manage lifecycles and product positioning in the marketplace.
  • Reduce broad concepts and business strategies into structured product marketing plans.
  • Oversee market research, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer needs.
  • Interact with engineering, manufacturing and sales to enhance existing product(s) or product line(s).
  • Help define new product requirements and business plans.
  • Be required to travel to Asia - ~25%

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Level Degree or work experience of 6 years , Bachelor's Level Degree or work experience of 7 years

Base Pay Range: $137,000.00 - $232,900.00 Annually

Primary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas-KLA

The range displayed reflects the pay for this position in the primary location identified in this posting. Actual pay depends on several factors, including state minimum pay wage rates, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education level or training.
