Ramsey Mazda of Des Moines is growing and looking to add Automotive Service Technicians of all skill levels to our team. Whether you're an experienced technician or just starting your career, we offer a supportive environment with ongoing training, competitive pay, and a path for advancement.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles according to dealership and factory standards

  • Perform vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs

  • Communicate findings and repair recommendations to service advisors

  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed

  • Keep a clean and organized work environment

  • Stay current on training and certifications

Qualifications:

Class A Technician (Master/Advanced-Level):

  • 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician

  • ASE Certifications or Mazda Master Technician Certification preferred

  • Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to work independently on complex repairs and diagnostics

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Class B Technician (Mid-Level):

  • 2–5 years of experience in automotive service

  • ASE Certifications preferred or willingness to obtain

  • Ability to perform standard maintenance and light-to-moderate repairs

  • Basic diagnostic ability

  • Willingness to grow technical skills through training

Class C Technician (Entry-Level):

  • 0–2 years of automotive service experience or completion of technical training program

  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn

  • Basic tools and mechanical aptitude

  • Ability to perform oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, and light maintenance

  • Valid driver’s license
