Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our range of wastewater hire solutions, installing new equipment on customer sites nationwide, and performing fault finding and repairs on a variety of equipment, including electronic components. This role requires a high level of technical skill, a commitment to providing outstanding customer service, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in the field.
- Holds Electrical based qualifications/experience.
- Experience in the wastewater treatment or related industry is preferable but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, with a specific focus on fault finding in electronic components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home for extended periods, possibly for the whole week, as job assignments require.
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the business, standard 40hrs a week with opportunities for overtime.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- A valid driver’s license is required; a clean driving record is not necessary.
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are highly desirable.
