Visual Designer

Match Group is hiring a Visual Designer to join a team dedicated to creating innovative social and dating experiences for underserved communities. We’re behind platforms like BLK for the Black community, Chispa for the Latinx community, and Yuzu for the Asian community. This is a unique opportunity to design meaningful spaces where people from these communities can interact, form connections, and build relationships. We are passionate about fostering inclusivity and making a positive impact through our work.

We’re looking for a talented Visual Designer with strong UI and motion design skills to join our team. In this role, you will craft forward-thinking, engaging user interfaces for consumer-facing applications. You’ll collaborate closely with product designers, engineers, and marketing to create unique and engaging digital experiences that set new industry standards.

When it comes to dating, the connection starts online, but the real magic happens once you meet in real life (IRL).  We think the same is true for creating the best platforms, so we work together IRL in our Dallas, LA, or NYC office 2 days/week.

How you'll make an impact:
  • You will develop motion-driven UI elements, micro-interactions, and transitions that enhance user engagement.
  • You will collaborate with product and the design team to conceptualize and prototype new interaction models and animations.
  • You will push the boundaries of design by exploring innovative layouts, visual hierarchies, and storytelling through UI.
  • You will work closely with developers to ensure high-fidelity implementation of designs.
  • You will stay ahead of industry trends in UI and motion design, experimenting with new tools and techniques.

We could be a match if:
  • You have 3+ years of experience in visual/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing consumer-facing digital experiences.
  • You have a strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and design systems.
  • You have expertise in UI motion design, including micro-interactions, prototyping, and animation principles.
  • You have the ability to translate complex concepts into intuitive, visually engaging user experiences.
  • You enjoy pushing the boundaries and crafting visually striking, forward-thinking designs.
  • You have proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Rive, Lottie, Adobe Creative Suite, etc (or similar).
  • You have a detail-oriented mindset with a passion for pushing the boundaries of UI design.
  • You have experience or familiarity with user research and leveraging insights to drive design decisions.
  • You have the adaptability to work in a fast-paced, iterative design environment.
