SUMMARY

The Cluster Revenue Manager is responsible to maximize all room revenues by establishing rates, packages and yield management practices. Manage all distribution channels, GDS, website and third-party organizations to drive business. Create reports and procedures to maximize business levels, analyze historical data and determine pace to improve room’s revenue performance year after year.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

  • Develops and leads weekly Rev Max meeting       
  • Prepares weekly forecast, pace, yield strategies, month end and other reports as needed
  • Studies industry trends, tracks bookings and analyzes data to develop selling strategies with Director of Sales and Marketing in order to achieve property’s revenue goals 
  • Develops booking pace tables by market segment to support forecast projections
  • Creates and or manages reporting of data to the Director Sales & Marketing
  • Determines daily pricing to maximize revenues which are aligned with the overall objectives of the hotels.
  • Analyzes the external marketplace, customer demand and competitor offerings to ensure proper price competitiveness within the hotel market and competitive set.
  • Evaluates channel and intermediary opportunities in line with segmentation goals and in compliance with corporate guidelines.
  • Develops guidelines for managing hotel’s inventory and pricing strategies to maximize the revenue received from each segment and channel.
  • Seeks opportunities to improve results by utilizing the various revenue optimization tools and programs.
  • Communicates rate and space availability to the hotel sales and management team, the hotel reservation agents.
  • Partners with sales team on contracted, group and negotiated transient revenue generation and ensures alignment with overall pricing and promotional activity
  • Assists with the hotel budget process and budget input in cooperation with the Director of Sales and Marketing.
  • Prepares and distributes accurate revenue forecasts for the General Manager and the Director of Sales and marketing.
  • Monitors hotel segmentation performance relative to plan and recommends action where needed to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
  • Supporting multiple properties
  • Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school or equivalent education required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum five years revenue management experience with higher levels of responsibility.
  • Strong sales background. Ability to identify and understand the market segments as they relate to the resort.
  • Excellent analytical skills to be used to design a cohesive sales effort and evaluate results of these efforts.
  • Knowledge of computer accounting programs, math skills as well as budgetary analysis capabilities required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment.  

The pay scale for the Cluster Revenue Manager is $95,00.00. The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
