Talent Acquisition Specialist

Are you a natural networker, good listener, and professional matchmaker? Our talent acquisition specialist position might be the ideal career for you! This position works with our leaders to find the best employees for Nextep. From combing through resumes to leading the interview process, you’ll be helping our team find the perfect employees for Nextep. 

About the role:

  • A typical day in the life of our talent acquisition specialist may include consulting with hiring managers, conducting phone interviews, and sourcing candidates. 
  • You’ll also be responsible for managing our openings on job boards and possibly placing job ads. 
  • Coordinate and manage the interview process, including scheduling interviews, preparing interview materials, and gathering feedback from hiring managers
  • Extend job offers to selected candidates and negotiate terms of employment as needed, working closely with hiring managers and HR leadership
  • Conduct background screenings for selected candidates, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring data integrity and compliance with data protection regulations
  • Ideally, you’re an expert communicator, because you’ll likely spend a good chunk of your time on the phone with candidates or advising Nextep’s hiring managers. 

About you:

  • You have prior experience hiring skilled sales professionals in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with 18 to 36 months of recruiting experience to show it.
  • You can provide top-notch customer service and project management to our hiring managers.
  • You have solid experience in sourcing candidates through advanced sourcing strategies, networking, and job boards.
  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
