This team ensures our facilities align with our dynamic business objectives. We manage daily operations, optimize workspace designs, and manage leasing and planning for our real estate portfolio. About the Role
As a member within the Real Estate & Workplace team, you will drive strategic occupancy planning initiatives, overseeing multiple medium-to-large-scale projects from inception to execution. You’ll develop space strategies that support organizational growth, workplace trends, and cost efficiency while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align occupancy plans with business needs.
This is an individual contributor role based in San Francisco, CA, operating on a hybrid model with three office days per week. Relocation assistance is available to new hires.
In this role, you will:
Occupancy Planning & Execution
Lead strategic occupancy initiatives, defining short- and long-term space strategies for new and existing office spaces.
Develop and implement project timelines that align with headcount growth, team adjacencies, and occupancy costs.
Provide rapid occupancy solutions, including stacking plans, move scenarios, and seating arrangements.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure space allocations align with business needs.
Present strategic recommendations to executives, translating complex occupancy data into actionable insights.
Validate headcount projections and spatial programming requirements to inform long-term planning.
Operational & Data-Driven Decision Making
Enhance occupancy management processes to support scalability and operational efficiency.
Lead new occupancy programs (e.g., space audits) to improve data accuracy and space utilization.
Use tools like Tableau, CAFM systems, and Google Workspace to develop dashboards and reports for decision-making.
You might thrive in this role if you:
5-8 years of experience in occupancy planning, space utilization, or real estate operations.
Proven ability to manage large-scale space planning and relocation projects in dynamic, high-growth environments.
Strong analytical skills with expertise in GSuite, OfficeSpace, and Tableau.
Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to executives and influencing business decisions.
