About the role:

As a Brand Designer, you will use your expertise in design principles, theory, and methods to work on well-defined design projects. You will work independently within established brand guidelines and be responsible for translating complex brand narratives into impactful visual experiences that achieve set objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Design Execution:

    • Develop and execute brand design concepts across various mediums, including print, digital, social media, and packaging.

    • Take ownership of design projects from concept to completion, ensuring they align with brand guidelines and meet project objectives.

  • Brand Development:

    • Contribute to the evolution and refinement of the brand's visual identity, including logo design, typography, color schemes, and other key brand elements.

    • Assist in updating and maintaining brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all brand touchpoints.

  • Creative Concepting:

    • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas and solutions for branding projects.

    • Develop and present visual concepts that effectively communicate the brand's message and values.

  • Client Interaction:

    • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide design solutions, and present design proposals.

    • Gather and incorporate client feedback, making necessary revisions to align with project goals and brand strategy.

  • Collaboration:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, UX/UI, and copywriting, to ensure cohesive brand messaging and visual consistency.

    • Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, offering constructive feedback and support to help them grow their skills.

  • Project Management:

    • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Quality Control:

    • Review and proof all design work to ensure accuracy, attention to detail, and alignment with brand standards before final delivery.

    • Conduct quality checks on design outputs, making sure they meet the required specifications and creative vision.

  • Trend Analysis and Research:

    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging design techniques to inform and enhance design work.

    • Conduct research on target audiences and market trends to ensure designs are relevant and impactful.

  • Innovation and Problem-Solving:

    • Identify opportunities for innovation within brand design projects, pushing creative boundaries while maintaining brand integrity.

    • Solve design challenges creatively, finding solutions that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.

  • Continuous Learning:

    • Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance design skills, software proficiency, and industry knowledge.

    • Share new insights, techniques, and tools with the design team to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3+ years of experience as a brand designer or in a similar role.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of brand design projects.

  • Mastery of design software suite (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite—Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

  • Excellent understanding of design principles, theory, and visual communication.

  • Excellent organization in the use of Figma files and the ability to follow company guidelines to maintain consistent language and methodologies in the workflow.

  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to take ownership of projects and deliver high-quality work on time.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

  • Passion for branding and a strong understanding of current design trends.
