DevOps Engineer
Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
What you will do:
- Lead the deployment of open-source software in a cloud environment
- Build and test a Helm chart for the deployment of containerized web services
- Create and deploy Azure GovCloud infrastructure using Terraform
- Build automated pipelines for security assessments, testing, and deployment of Infrastructure as Code
- Support security audits and assessments of deployed infrastructure
- Support modification of PHP open-source web services
Schedule:
- Core hours are 0930-1430 Monday-Friday to ensure overlap with the team, attendance is expected outside of this window as needed to support meetings, deployments, and team activities.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Associates degree and 7+ years of experience; OR Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience; OR Master’s Degree and 3+ years of experience. Or 0 years with PhD. However, four (4) years of additional relevant experience or specialized training will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active Secret clearance.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
Required Technical Qualifications:
- Expertise developing Kubernetes objects and Helm charts
- Expertise deploying infrastructure with automated pipelines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience writing Terraform for deploying Azure GovCloud infrastructure
- Experience developing web services with PHP
- Experience integrating software with single sign on solutions
- Experience developing automated tests for web services
- Experience with agile software delivery lifecycles, with particular emphasis on requirements
- analysis, design, and testing experience.
- Experience working in a disconnected network (not connected to the internet).

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.EEO
