Senior Project Manager

Location: Remote

Required Clearance: NACI background check

Required Certifications: Active Project Management Professional certification (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or comparable). Software Architect (Sr. Fullstack Drupal Lead + Arch + Infra + Dev UX, Middle, DB, Dev

Required Education:  BA/BS and have 5+ Years experience managing major IT development and O&M projects utilizing Salesforce, JIRA, and Confluence.


Position Description:  


PingWind is seeking a Sr. Project Manager who will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects within the government sector. The PM will be Responsible for the operational planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of a multifaceted program/project typically strong understanding of government contracting processes, and a technical background in IT.


Primary Responsibilities:


Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:

• Manages contract resources across all phases of planning, requirements elicitation, development, testing and deployment to achieve successful performance of all project tasks. 

• Provides oversight and direction to the technical team, establishes schedules, and meets deadlines. 

• Responsible for contract deliverables and reporting. 

• Experience with projects/programs in the federal government. 

• Possess a working knowledge of the Agile Framework which is based on Agile, Lean, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles. 

• Has a working knowledge of project management concepts.

• Project Manager shall be dedicated full time to this Drupal Modernization project and may split time between different tasks included in this PWS.


Experience Requirements: 


• 5+ years of experience managing major IT development and O&M projects utilizing Salesforce, JIRA, and Confluence.
