About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Product Owner on behalf of an innovative client specializing in deep-tech solutions. Roles & Responsibilities

As the Product Owner, you will:

  • Develop and drive the product/component roadmap in collaboration with research and business/engineering stakeholders to deliver impactful features.
  • Own the customer experience, defining user flows and working closely with UX design to elevate product usability.
  • Facilitate and guide sprint planning sessions with the engineering team, aligning on priorities and constraints.
  • Define comprehensive business requirements and user stories, focusing on market context, KPIs, and clear acceptance criteria.
  • Manage the product/component backlog, overseeing the product lifecycle from concept through release.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality deliverables from scrum teams.
  • Maintain accurate software documentation as new features and enhancements are developed.

Requirements

Must-Have:

  • Proven track record of achievement.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst, ideally in robotics or AI domains.
  • Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to identify business problems, devise solutions, and measure impact via KPIs.
  • Product-focused mindset with a priority-driven approach to development.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in technical environments.
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship management, and organizational skills within cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in Agile product lifecycle management, including epics, user stories, backlog grooming, etc.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and adaptability to a fast-paced setting.

Good-to-Have:

  • Knowledge in robotics, manufacturing, AI, and developer APIs.
  • BS/MS in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Product Owner certification.
  • Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher) is only a plus.
