Skills
Experience in regional/international counsel role for a U.S. headquartered company
Ability to handle a variety of legal matters including commercial contracts, litigation, regulatory issues
Experience managing or mentoring legal team members
Strong communication and collaboration skills across time zones
Knowledge of legal issues in multiple APAC jurisdictions
Responsibilities
Advise on local content regulations, intellectual property, privacy, employment, and commercial matters
Ensure compliance with India regulations, including the Information Technology Act and data privacy regulations
Collaborate with legal, public policy, trust & safety, product, and business teams in the region
Build and manage a regional legal team
Education
Locally licensed in the jurisdiction
