Apps and Validation Intern

Job Description

Our Application and Validation Engineering team is looking for a talented EE/ECE student to join our Full-Time team this Summer 2025 in our Tempe, AZ  office. Our team works on Post-Silicon validation at component and system levels.

An intern in this role can expect to engage with our team members and learn: high-speed electronic component validation, working effectively with lab equipment, and getting hands-on experience with the latest consumer and IOT applications.

Qualifications

  • Working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering. 
  • Course works on analog and digital circuit including computer architecture.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Self-starter, not afraid to ask questions and seek guidance
  • Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DVM, SMU, etc.
  • Familiarity with Python.
  • Solder and rework experience .
  • Familiarity with Cadence-Allegro or good understanding of PCB design rules.
  • Candidate must be located in Tempe, AZ.
  • Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Renesas is unable to sponsor applicants for work visas for this position
