About the Role

Commure Ambient AI (formerly Commure Scribe) is revolutionizing clinical documentation through cutting-edge AI technology. Our product supports medical scribing and generating tailored clinical documents that integrate seamlessly into providers’ workflows. 

We are looking for an experienced product designer to join the passionate and fast-growing team in shaping the future of clinical documentation. This is an on-site/hybrid position requiring regular presence at our headquarters in Mountain View, CA, and occasional travel to client sites for field observation and direct user engagement.

The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, communicative and thrive in a fast-paced environment. They will help build healthcare digital products from start to finish, collaborating with cross-functional team members to create user-centric experiences that help providers streamline their workflow and better service patients.

What You'll Do

End to End Product Design:

  • Support the lead designer to create and deliver high-quality, polished, and intuitive UI/UX designs that enhance the overall visual appeal and user experience of Commure Ambient AI.

  • Create wireframes, low and high-fidelity interfaces, and interactive prototypes in Figma to support the development of new features and product enhancements.

  • Conduct user research and testing to validate design decisions and improve user experiences.

Collaboration and Strategy:

  • Work closely with the lead designer and cross-functional partners, including product managers, engineers, and customer success teams, to conceptualize and refine product features.

  • Solicit and share feedback for continuous improvement, articulating your design decisions throughout the process.

  • Identify future opportunities and influence product roadmaps as a key thought partner to your product and eng counterparts, balancing business requirements and end-user needs.

  • Work alongside a talented and passionate team of designers, polishing your design craft through fast-growing products.

Best Practices and Design System:

  • Stay up to date with the latest best practices of design systems, user-centered design principals, and accessibility standards.

  • Support and contribute to the Commure design system, ensuring consistency in design across all platforms and devices.

  • Champion user-centered design principles, continuously polish your design craft, and elevate the design culture within the company.

What You Have

Experience and Expertise:

  • 3+ years of experience in end-to-end product design.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in product design, industrial design, human-computer-interaction, or other related fields.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing research-driven UX design, exceptional visual design and problem solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in designing high-fidelity interfaces and building interactive prototypes in Figma.

  • Experience working with and contributing to a design system
