The Role:


In this exciting, newly created role, the eCommerce Trading Manager will drive commercial performance, optimise the online shopping experience, and maximise sales and profitability across our digital channels. Effectively collaborating with other teams across the business you will enable and assist in the delivery of projects, promotions & campaigns whilst acting as leader to our eCommerce team.


Day to day, you will:
  • Own and drive the eCommerce Strategy, consistently delivering within tight timelines and taking proactive action to drive performance.
  • Implement new processes to drive efficiency within the eCommerce team. 
  • Analyse site performance, identifying opportunities to optimise trading levers (content, promotions, merchandising, personalisation, etc.).
  • Develop and execute site merchandising strategies that maximise revenue and enhance customer engagement.
  • Lead the planning and execution of promotional campaigns, aligning with marketing, CRM, and paid media teams.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure site content and landing pages are optimised for traffic-driving initiatives.
  • Work with UX and product teams to improve site navigation, search, and overall user experience.
  • Conduct A/B Tests to optimise sorting rules, recommenders and personalisation for continuous testing and learning.
  • Audit the on-site experience, ensuring a user-friendly, personalised consumer journey, and work with other teams to deliver a seamless and elevated shopping experience.


Who are we looking for?
  • 5+ years experience within eCommerce in a fast-paced retail organisation, with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Content Management Systems (Adobe Experience Manager or similar).
  • Experience managing campaigns and promotions within a Shopify Ecommerce Environment.
  • Experience working with Search & Merchandising providers (optional).
  • Understanding of digital content and optimisation of content eg. web traffic, SEO, Google analytics.
  • Adaptable, flexible and thrives in a fast paced environment!
