We blend design, engineering, and analytics expertise to build the future.What You’ll DoAs a member of the Data Strategy team, your objective is to align Slalom's clients’ business strategies with their data initiatives, crafting a compelling value case for data utilization, and establish success metrics to measure the impact of implemented strategies, ensuring they deliver tangible outcomes in line with their organizational objectives.You will define the way our clients use data to drive their business. You understand that data isn’t only about using the latest technologies, it is about creating a culture which enables and encourages the use of data and AI, ensuring everyone understands their value. You are keen to listen and understand, comfortable with ambiguity and able to work in environments with complex stakeholder relationships. By assessing the current state, you can propose solutions which incorporate technology, ways of working, data literacy, governance, and change.• Meet with stakeholders to gather and clarify data requirements.• Identify and assess data sources that provide the necessary information.• Collaborate with data owners and stewards to secure access to relevant data elements.• Ensure data solutions align with stakeholder needs and organizational goals.• Advise clients on establishing a data-driven culture that aligns with their strategic business objectives, fostering an environment where data underpins all facets of decision-making.• Conduct maturity assessments, understand the current state of data and AI culture as well as define target maturity levels.• Propose a roadmap encompassing tailored solutions and capabilities to bridge the maturity gap, integrating flexible and scalable systems, establishing reference architecture, and addressing data sharing and ethics, compliance, and data-driven decision-making.• Optimize organizational structures and processes to support agile data and analytics efforts, ensuring a seamless flow between data collection and actionable insights.• Collaborate with clients to execute their data and AI roadmaps, taking ownership of initiatives and guiding clients through the transformation.• Deliver transformative solutions to clients that are aligned to industry best practices and provide thought leadership in the data and AI space.What You’ll BringTo excel as a Data Strategist within our team, you will need a blend of strategic insight, technical acumen, and leadership capabilities. Specifically, you will bring:• Help stakeholders define the vision, values, and priorities of data within the organization.• Identify and evaluate new data sources and use cases to drive business growth and efficiency.• Conduct competitive research and analysis to identify opportunities for data utilization.• Facilitate workshops to engage stakeholders and gather requirements for data initiatives.• Define governance requirements for data access, ensuring secure and compliant data usage.• Experience in building holistic data strategies which include assessing organizational outcomes and current state landscape and making functional and technical recommendations in support of determining foundational data needs.• Profound knowledge in specific architectures, tools, and processes and capability to prioritize, build, and drive alignment of 2–3-year roadmaps, including estimates of duration, cost, and resources.Title: Senior ConsultantAbout UsSlalom is a purpose-led, global business and technology consulting company.
