Details

As an On-Call RN, you’ll provide compassionate hospice care to patients in their homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals. Unlike traditional phone-based on-call roles, you’ll have the opportunity to offer in-person care, ensuring patients receive the physical and emotional support they need during crucial moments. We ensure fair patient-to-nurse ratios to prevent burnout and enhance care quality.

  • Hospice admissions, routine patient visits, and symptom management
  • Respond to patient, family, and customer calls
  • Manage urgent needs, deaths, and admissions after hours

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (in good standing) with 1+ year of experience
  • On-call & admissions experience preferred
  • Strong communication & teamwork skills
  • Self-motivated, independent, yet supported by a dedicated care team
  • Tech-savvy – able to use electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license & auto insurance for travel within the service area
  • Be available to work a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday schedule, 12hr shifts
