The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy & its sister brands are seeking a talented & uber-creative Graphic Designer with a killer portfolio to assist our marketing department on a consistent freelance basis. Bring your creativity, have fun, collaborate – and make a difference in a child’s life!

The Position:
We are seeking a freelance Graphic Designer to assist our marketing team on a consistent project basis. This role is remote; however, the ideal candidate will be based in the Upstate and able to periodically meet in-person in Greenville, SC.

Availability: 
Minimum of 20 hours per week. Time may vary depending on projects.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Creative Director to understand brand objectives and design requirements.
  • Develop visual concepts, graphics, and layouts that align with brand guidelines and company needs.
  • Design marketing materials, including logos, brochures, digital assets, and other advertising maintaining brand consistency.
  • Package and prepare files to be print ready.
  • Portfolio showcasing a range of design projects is a must for consideration.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in graphic design.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
  • Strong understanding of design principles and color theory.
  • Extensive experience with various design projects, including logos, branding, creating graphics, images and content for a variety of mediums including websites, social media, digital, and print. Illustration and/or animation skills a plus.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and visual balance.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate creative concepts.
