Responsible for the development and delivery of System Operations Training Program content and development and delivery of simulation training using the Energy System Management (EMS) simulator application. Responsibilities include the review, revisions and development of training for all Transmission System Operations training materials to ensure compliance with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Compliance Standards (including subsequent orders and clarifications). Also responsible for working with the other System Operations Training Specialist(s) for the development of technical training programs in accordance with all NERC required standards.
