Carollo Engineers is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking an Environmental Engineer,

Responsibilities

Research, design, plan and perform engineering duties for water and wastewater project. Duties may include: Develop reports, calculations, and analysis of data for completion of the projects. Conduct calculations, treatment evaluation analyses, and treatment modeling utilizing software such as Biowin, concept layouts, and detailed design (specifications and drawings). Conduct water treatment pilot studies, water treatment plant design, and water recycling planning studies, and design efforts on the City of Los Angeles Hyperion 2035 Program and start-up and commissioning efforts. Complete project site visits and condition assessments at water treatment facilities, wastewater treatment facilities, and lift stations. Prepare water and wastewater design documents including facility plans, preliminary design reports, process analyses, and master plans. May telecommute part-time. Travel to local project sites.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field, plus six months of work experience as an Environmental Engineer, or a related occupation. *In lieu of six months of work experience, employer will also accept course work, internships or projects that document knowledge of the required skills.

Pay Range

The salary range for this position is $86,000-$94,000/year. May be eligible for standard corporate

Flexible work arrangements may also be available.  Eligibility for benefits varies based on employment status.
