About the job:
In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the APRN - Nurse Practitioner provides primary or acute healthcare services for certain acute or chronic health conditions in specific populations in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

As a Nurse Practitioner at Mount Carmel Medical Group in the Big Run Location, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, compassionate healthcare to our diverse patient population. This full-time position offers you the opportunity to work collaboratively in a busy office environment, where your experience will shine. Your day-to-day tasks will involve obtaining patient histories, performing health assessments through observation and interviews, and ordering as well as interpreting diagnostic studies. You will also provide preventative health care services like screenings and immunizations while directly managing various health conditions within your scope of practice. Education is a cornerstone of your work—you'll counsel patients and their caregivers on wellness, treatment options, and available community resources. Your practice will reflect our mission and values, focusing on informed choices and shared decision-making. To excel in this role, you should possess a Master's degree in Nursing and state licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Ideally, you will have at least five years of relevant experience to navigate the complexities of primary care effectively.
