Job Description

The University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center, a member of the University of Maryland Medical System, is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Physician Assistant to join the NICU team in Towson, Maryland.

  • This position will focus on providing the highest quality care to high-risk infants in a Level III B NICU
  • Responsibilities include comprehensive H&P, management and treatment of at-risk newborns, delivery room attendance and infant stabilization  
  • Must be willing to work rotating day and night 12 hr shifts
  • Both experienced and newly graduated NNPs encouraged to apply!
  • The successful candidate will have completed an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program and will have, or be eligible for, a Maryland NNP license.
  • Physician Assistant candidates must have 1-2 years of NICU experience to be considered 
  • SJMC is a CMS 5-Star, Leapfrog Grade ‘A’ hospital and ranked the #1 community hospital in Maryland by the U.S. News and World Report.
