This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

We are seeking a Frontend Engineer who is passionate about building seamless, high-performance, and visually engaging user interfaces. In this role, you will work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to create intuitive and scalable web applications. Your expertise in modern frontend technologies will be instrumental in delivering an outstanding user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop & Maintain UI Components – Build efficient, reusable, and scalable frontend components that enhance user experience.
  • Ensure High-Quality Code – Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while adhering to best practices.
  • Optimize Performance – Ensure fast load times and smooth interactions by implementing best practices for frontend performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams – Work closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
  • Implement Responsive Design – Ensure applications are fully responsive and optimized for multiple devices and screen sizes.
  • Stay Updated – Keep up with emerging trends in frontend development and continuously improve the tech stack and development workflows.
  • Debugging & Troubleshooting – Identify and fix UI/UX issues, browser compatibility problems, and performance bottlenecks.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: 3-7 years of hands-on experience in frontend development.
  • Proficiency in Frontend Technologies: Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Frameworks & Libraries: Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.
  • State Management: Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux, Vuex, or MobX.
  • API Integration: Experience working with RESTful APIs and GraphQL for seamless backend integration.
  • Testing & Debugging: Proficiency in unit and integration testing using Jest, Mocha, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
  • Performance Optimization: Knowledge of code-splitting, lazy loading, and other techniques for improving frontend performance.
  • Version Control & CI/CD: Experience with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment workflows.
