About Wing:

Wing offers drone delivery as a safe, fast, and sustainable solution for last mile logistics. We design, build, and operate our aircraft, and offer drone delivery services on three continents. Our technology is designed to be easy to integrate into existing delivery and logistics networks, offering a scalable drone delivery solution for a broad range of businesses. A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to design user-centered solutions for consumer-facing applications is essential.

  • Partner with other designers to refine design systems and integrate new features into our evolving products, ensuring consistency across the Wing ecosystem.
  • Work with the engineering team to ensure designs are implemented to spec and collaborate with them to come up with creative design solutions when technical challenges arise.
  • Contribute to our culture: collaboration, motivation, optimism, quality, integrity.
  • Work in a fast-paced startup-like environment with a globally distributed cross-functional team.

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years of work experience in UX design, with a strong emphasis on e-commerce, marketplace design, or consumer-facing applications.
  • BA/BS degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A portfolio showcasing simple solutions to complex problems, high quality work, and attention to detail for platforms including Web, iOS, and Android, with a focus on mobile-first design.
  • Curiosity and passion for designing beautiful, thoughtful, intuitive, and delightful experiences in a B2C environment.
  • Proficiency working in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and/or other industry-standard design software.
  • Showcase your track record of leading through ambiguity and designing complex flows and user journeys, specifically within an e-commerce or marketplace context.
  • Experience and ability to integrate user research and business needs into product designs.
  • Experience conducting usability testing to measure products' utility, usefulness, experience and interaction, with a focus on optimizing conversion/retention, engagement, and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including communicating design in a clear, concise, and compelling way through written reports and presentations, tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.
