Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Cashier/Customer Service representative to join our team. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions efficiently, and ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for all customers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle customer inquiries and concerns effectively.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system
Answer customer inquiries and provide assistance with product information
Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions responsibly
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Resolve customer issues or escalate to management when necessary
Assist with stock replenishment and ensure shelves are well-maintained
Support other team members with daily operational tasks as needed
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in a cashier or customer service role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately
Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
High school diploma or equivalent required
